What's included
Meals at Sangam
Meals from dinner on the evening before the first day of the event, through lunch on the last day of the event are included. We are capable of catering to special dietary requirements.
The Sangam Experience
The core of the Sangam experience is built around active participation, community, and cultural discovery. This event incorporates various engaging sessions and activities designed to build confidence and encourage participants to feel at ease outside their comfort zone. This is balanced with deep cultural immersion, where participants learn about Indian traditions, culture and cuisine while exploring the vibrant streets of Pune.
World Centres Immersion
World Centres are vibrant hubs where Girl Guides, Girl Scouts and people from different backgrounds and cultures come together to connect, learn and feel empowered to build their agency. Offering adventure and international experiences, World Centres are primarily 'brave spaces' for leadership development, providing transformative experiences that break down cultural barriers and encourage personal connections.
Community Interaction
Sangam currently works with over 20 community partners which include local NGOs addressing a wide range of social issues, as well as local Guiding and Scouting units and schools in Pune. During this event, there will be an opportunity to interact with them in a reciprocal approach, either through a short observational visit or a few-hour engagement, or through one or more days of community action projects.
