What you’ll do

Celebrate the Festival of Colour – Holi – with us through traditional customs as well as modern dance, fashion and food. Experience cultural appreciation and explore together the difference between this and cultural appropriation.

Experience how India is making steps forwards in the areas of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Learn how to recognise your own unconscious bias and assumptions and commit to a world that’s more accepting and appreciative of all.

You will also, discover the colourful city of Pune, through visits to its diverse sights.

This is a Sangam CULTURAL event.

Our event is open to all ages and to everyone: Girl Guides, Girl Scouts, Family, Friends of Sangam, leaders, troops, units, alumni and anyone who would love to come to Sangam.

The Sangam Experience

The core of the Sangam experience is built around active participation, community, and cultural discovery. This event incorporates various engaging sessions and activities designed to build confidence and encourage participants to feel at ease outside their comfort zone. This is balanced with deep cultural immersion, where participants learn about Indian traditions, culture and cuisine while exploring the vibrant streets of Pune.
