Ishwari is one of Sangam community partner. Initially dedicated to the empowerment and skill development of women and girls, Ishwari has now evolved into a small women self-help group. Its main activity is now the production and sale of a wide range of food products such as biscuits, pickles and much more.

By joining us for this cooking session, you will not only be preparing a delicious meal, you will also be supporting Ishwari's mission. So, gather your tools and let’s start cooking with ISHWARI to enjoy a tasty and enjoyable experience!

The name Sangam was chosen for its meaning in the ancient language of Sanskrit: ‘Coming Together’. The centre serves as a place for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world to come together to share their experiences, as well as the culture and traditions of their homelands and Member Organisations.

WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR?

This cooking session is open to everyone: Girl Guides, Girl Scouts, Family, Friends of Sangam, leaders, troops, units, alumni and anyone who would love to connect with us and learn from our community partner.

Individuals under the age of 16 are required to have a parent or guardian register and accompany them during the session. 

If you are aged between 16 and 18, please get permission from a parent/guardian to sign up for this session.

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE INVOLVED?

In this virtual programme, you will learn how to prepare corn soup and spring rolls. As you immerse yourself in this online cooking, you will discover the techniques behind Ishwari's famous corn soup, well-known for its rich, comforting flavour and creamy texture. You will also learn how to make spring rolls that are not only crispy and delicious, but also visually appealing, making them the perfect starter for any gathering, a snack during the day or even for lunch.

The event will take place if we have a minimum of 10 tickets sold. 

Please note that payments are non-refundable. In the case of cancellation, your payment will be redirected to the next session with Ishwari.
